Quite the opposite, you want them to see themselves in the house. So, the pictures of you (or family members) decked out in feather boas from the last family gathering displayed prominently in the family room – got to go. Instead, a nice abstract painting that compliments the colors of the room. Depersonalize and remember, you want the prospective buyer to see themselves in the house.
